Victorian Science Space Education Centre

Excursion review:
Well on the 26/11/15 5V and 5M went to Victorian Science Space Education Centre (V.S.S.E.C.) which is in Strathmore Secondary School. It was a great experience, on a great day.

My highlights of the day are:

Wearing the space suits for the first time.

Communicating with Josh and Suzzie through a headset while they were experimenting and telling us the results of the experiment.

Making the robot and doing serious science with Chris.

Last but not the least, doing the experiment with the cabbage and checking the DNA in the science lab.

I’d recommend this place to all ages. I had an enjoyable time there with my mates. I’m pretty sure that I’ll rate the day       5 Stars.

How was your experience to V.S.S.E.C.?

Fish by L.S. Matthew

free glitter text and family website at FamilyLobby.com
On the 27th of November 2015 we finished reading the world’s frustrating book. You might like it as everyone has a different taste to books. You might be wondering why I named this book the worlds frustrating book. So the author L.S. Matthew tried her best making this book fun and exciting but she failed at doing that. L.S. Matthew didn’t tell us what country they were in, what were the characters names or at least she should have described the characters. But no none of that happened! But anyways I think the book was alright and I won’t recommend this to little kids because they might get frustrated like me. I would rate this book 0/5 stars. Sorry!
What was your opinion about the book? Why?

Prediction from page pg. 25-75

This is my work from the 16/11/15.

This is my work from the 16/11/15.

My prediction for pages 25-75:

Perhaps the team will lose the game. I also think that they’ll not make it to England because a few players might get ill or make a decision to leave the group. But I really want them to win and I think Megs will be the best out of all as he did lots of push-ups and I hope they’ll win because everyone is trying their best.

Footy Pie Day

Today is Wednesday, it's the Footy Pie Day. Everyone had to dress up as a Footy supporter. I was a Geelong. Our first session at class was to make a graph out of each footy team. As a class we made a pie graph, it wasn't that equal but we still understand what to do. When we went off to do our work. I did a bar graph. A pie chart would've been a bit hard because the total has to equal up to 100. This a Pie graph

Monty Leadership day

What went well…..I think all day went well, because everything was well organised. I was in the group called Pink, from 5V I had Daniel and Rebekah in my group. It was a FANTASTIC time at Monty.
Our first activity called “Flying Blind” in that activity our leadership skill was “strategy”. After the activity we had our snack, we had a little a play and then headed back to our activities. All of our activity had something to do with leadership skills.
The leadership skills were:
1.Strategy
2.Teamwork
3.Communication
4.Initiative
5.Persistence
6.Co-operation
These were all the skills that we had for each activities.

When, we all finished our activities we had a little assembly, during the assembly they said a BIG thank you to us for coming and then Sef & Louise said a BIG thank you to them for letting us join their Leadership program.

After, the assembly we went back to school. I would rate the day 10/10.
